We are not in Texas anymore

We walked this bridge
Our camp site in Little Rock
 The Trolley
Clinton Presidential Library

After leaving home we stayed one night at Lake Tawakoni, a Thousand Trails Park. We roughed it there a little as only had 30amp. Could only run one AC and can't run hair dryer or microwave while AC is running. We had forgot this tidbit, but remembered when everything stopped and had to reflip breaker. Sad, huh?
For those who are interested, Dennis planned our trip using All Stays ap and Microsoft Streets ap. He then printed it to One Note, a Microsoft Office program. We have maps and written directions to get us around and through places we have not been and to make it easier traveling with RV. Smart of him, huh? Actually, he drives and my job is to navigate using this system. I mostly do OK.....
Also, being the homey one, have cooked up some meals for the freezer so can heat something up when we get to camp as don't always know if can find someplace to eat and/or don't want to get out again.
Arrived in Little Rock Tuesday afternoon at North Little Rock RV Park. It is just a concrete parking lot, but fronts the river. We have a spot facing the river and is quite nice. There is an  old railroad bridge that has been redone as a walking bridge and crosses from our camp over the river ending at the Clinton Presidential Library. We toured the library today.
No matter what your politics or moral convictions may be, the museum is history and covers more than just his term as president. One room was a replica of the Cabinet Room. Do you know where the president sits and what determines the order of the other seats?
Also, no tax payer money goes into the libraries. It is all covered by private donations and an endowment is set up for the upkeep. We also enjoyed a trolley ride of the city and the driver was our tour guide showing us significant buildings and history of the city.
We met a couple at our camp from Canada. They traveled down this way and will end up in Houston. Their motor home will be stored there. They fly home; then in January fly back down, pick up the motor home and travel Texas for the winter. You meet so many interesting and nice people camping - or glamping.....
Tomorrow to Tennessee
